Agilent Technologies in Santa Rosa, California has an opening for a summer intern.
Santa Rosa, in the heart of California's beautiful wine country, is the R&D headquarters of Agilent's Microwave and Communication Division (MCD). MCD develops and produces the world's highest performance signal generators and signal analyzers.

Job Responsibilities:

Sales and Tech Support (STS) Engineers are electrical or computer engineers who are the primary technical resource for Agilent's field sales force selling signal analyzers and signal generators.
The STS Engineers are also responsible for delivering technical sales tools that enable our field engineers to successfully win against the competition.

This internship will consist of creating a variety of technical sales tools ranging from competitive comparisons and updates, step by step demonstration guides, and other tools to simplify the sales process of our existing products. Deliverables include the creation of a technical white paper and/or PowerPoint slides, with stretch goals of 1) converting the white paper or PowerPoint slides into a video and 2) converting the video into an application for mobile devices.
Qualifications:
Ideal candidate must be pursuing a BS (or MS) degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
Be well versed in Time and Frequency Domains.
Working knowledge of Fourier's Theory and familiarity with cellular and wireless communications technologies (GSM, W-CDMA, 1xEVDO,W-LAN, WiMax, LTE),
Aerospace/Defense Applications (Radar, Satellite), EMI, is highly desirable.
Candidate must be self-motivated and comfortable in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
