JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Sales Training Manager will develop and deliver training focused on sales process, sales skills, sales tools, products and systems training to new and existing sales force. He/she will develop and drive the training strategy, philosophy and systems to meet organizational goals and objectives. The Sales Training Manager will also manage the Customer Onboarding process and report on progress.
*Development and implementation of all training programs with the Aurora sales organization, including new hires, current sales force and managers.
*Establish a strategic vision to building a high impact training program that aligns with the company's strategic operational initiatives and expectations.
*Create curriculums and manage ongoing lesson plans to ensure all sales employees receive consistent, ongoing training through a blended learning approach (live, e-learning and self-guided).
*Conduct field evaluations with sales representatives and managers to evaluate, develop and conduct live training.
*Identify skill gaps and assess training effectiveness by collaboration with internal Team Directors, Managers and Leaders.
*Collaborate with Marketing to ensure content, materials and training are created consistently with branding standards.
*Maintain a collaborative relationship with sales management to successfully acquire, develop and/or maintain up-to-date training information.
*Maintain an accurate record of training activities.
*Monitor and report on effectiveness of training programs.
*Continual evaluation of training effectiveness of training programs and tools to improve and adjust as necessary.
*On-boarding Managing and Monitoring

Collaborate with the areas involved in implementation to develop and publish project plans and on-boarding timelines
Communicate daily with all teams on all open projects and timelines as appropriate
Work with teams to identify opportunities for process improvement designed to shorten the implementation timeline, improve customer satisfaction and drive sales results
*Reporting and Tracking
Report progress of on-boarding projects
Report on Significant Wins
Storybook Training Conduct Storybook training via webinar and / or phone support for new users
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Must have outstanding written and oral communication skills
Must have strong presence platform skills
Must have experience in developing facilitator-led training and Web-based training programs
Must have a proven track record of effective team leadership and management of a dynamic and successful training program
Maintain internal contacts with other departments on matters of concern
Maintain external contacts on matters of education
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
*Bachelor's Degree required
*Minimum of 5-7 years of proven Training Experience and/or Educational Development
*Minimum of 2-3 years of success as a training manager or sales manager
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The employee is regularly required to sit, talk or hear. The employee is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. Some travel may be required. Regular attendance is required.
