Develop and manage product and sales training programs for internal staff
Develop and manage product and sales training programs in support of sales strategy for client's dealer network
Develop and implement with support of the Regional Sales Team (RST), sales training programs, Exclusive Dealer sales training and business development programs to improve account performance
Manage the Brand Expert national sales force to achieve growth goals
The Brand Expert program is consists of an initial 3 day intensive orientation and product training program targeted to sales representatives from "Dual" dealerships. Initial training is followed up with biweekly calls to continually increase product knowledge and selling skills
Recruit, train and motivate a team of geographically disbursed Brand Experts to achieve growth goals for dual dealers
Manage and report key performance information to senior management and make recommendations to improve the Brand Expert and training initiatives
Manage all programs within budget
Hire, develop and manage direct reports
Excellent personnel management skills required
Excellent training skills and experience training professional sales people required; OEM automotive product training strongly preferred.
Strong computer skills required.
Successful people management experience needed
Strong technical skills required - i.e. video conferencing, WEB training, etc
Excellent communication skills required - verbal and written
Minimum 5 years sales training experience
Experience in a nationwide sales environment through a dealer or distribution network preferred.
