Job Description
The Sales and Operations Planning Manager will focus on developing a new function that is designed to link strategy, sales, and operations objectives through cross functional integration while balancing cost, service, and inventory pillars of the organization. This is a critical leadership position that will serve as a platform for future growth within and outside of supply chain management.

Scope includes development and enablement of an effective, robust, and sustainable S&OP function including direct leadership of S&OP team, development of objectives, key performance indicators, as well as S&OP mechanisms required to mobilize and implement S&OP processes across a multi-site environment. The successful candidate will have a strong ability to drive vision to execution, possess deep knowledge of leading practices relative to S&OP, have the ability to influence vertically and laterally across the organization, as well as navigate across regional and global landscape while positioning the supply chain team to elevate our performance to the next level.

Design and implement a sustainable S&OP process across the North America Ride Performance division, including leadership and guidance of Sales & Operations Planning team as well as development of mechanisms designed to optimize cost, service, and inventory targets while balancing sales and operational constraints across the business.

Develop tools and processes designed to support demand, capacity, and supply planning, inventory modeling, service and revenue forecasting.

Implement robust set of KPIs designed to drive the process across NARP organization, including forecast accuracy relative to sales vs. plan, capacity utilization, and other indicators to support alignment across the broader organization.

Lead the roll out and implementation of monthly cadence and facilitate effective decision making including cross functional and Executive S&OP sessions designed to resolve critical business issues and priorities.

Responsible for managing supply chain projects, work stream team activities, including content, timeliness, quality of deliverables, cross work stream integration, user acceptance testing, cutover / implementation planning, and leadership status reporting.

Operate as an integral member of strategic organizational projects and with responsibility for work stream team activities, including content, timeliness, quality of deliverables, cross work stream integration, user acceptance testing, cutover / implementation planning, and leadership status reporting.

Support future state through development and enhancement of processes, policies and procedures. Confirms business processes and enables solutions that will elevate supply chain performance to next level post implementation of strategic projects.

Responsible for training and development of organization relative to understanding critical concepts and principles of Sales & Operations Planning Management.

Job Requirements
Required Skills

Business or Engineering related Bachelor s degree required with a strong preference for concentration in Supply Chain Management or Engineering. MBA degree preferred.

6+ years related experience supply chain management including design, implementation and execution of Sales & Operations Planning process in a multi-site environment. Strong SAP proficiency required.

Knowledge and understanding of supply chain concepts across plan, source, make, deliver, and return pillars of supply chain, including experience with statistical and business forecasting.

Strong interpersonal skills required to operate in an integral leadership role combined with a high sense of urgency.

Outstanding written, listening and verbal communication skills

Analytical and articulate disposition with an ability to analyze and discern information, as well as translate to actionable improvements to function and broader supply chain network.

Ability to conceptualize, execute, and sustain supply chain improvements while mobilizing direct reports and cross functional partners in support of overall organizational objectives.

High degree of computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office product suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio process mapping tools.

Ability to work individually and set priorities and tasks as well as in a team environment.

APICS certification is considered a differentiator
