Sales Service Coordinator Position Summary: Responsible for the daily operation of the Marketing Office. Essential Functions: 1. Compose and send letters to perspective clients. 2. Operate and maintain all office equipment. 3. Keep an up-to-date calendar of events and functions. Update daily. 4. Type weekly bulletin in designated format and distribute accordingly. 5. Answer telephone calls and refer the caller to the appropriate sales manager. 6. Keep all files in an orderly manner. Maintain records of past and future functions according to hotel/company standards. 7. Open, date and sort incoming mail. 8. Maintain inventory for brochures and sales kits. 9. Responsible for inventory control office supplies. 10. Update any printed materials so that information is accurate and current. 11. Keep mailing lists up to date. 12. Prepare advertising materials for newspaper ads as needed. 13. Adhere to all work rules, procedures and policies established by the hotel, including, but not limited to, those contained in the employee handbook. 14. Assist Catering Department with BEOs. 15. Audit BEOs and files for accuracy. Education and Experience: - Previous hotel experience. Skills and Abilities: - Organized and attentive to detail. - Good communication skills.
