JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY Summary of Job Description: Responsible for start to finish sanitation of production lines and maintain sanitation completion time per production schedule. * Clean and sanitize assigned areas * Possess and acquire knowledge of chemicals that will be used in assigned area. * Must know SSOP and GMP's * Disassembles and cleans food processing equipment by cleaning and sanitizing per company guidelines. * Reassembles food processing equipment and replace gaskets, seals, O-rings and worn parts as needed. * Ensures all equipment is sanitized according to state and federal regulations. * Member of a team that is directly responsible for the overall sanitary condition of the facility. * Proper PPE is expected to be worn at all times. * Comply with applicable environment, health and safety rules, procedures, laws and accepted safe work practices. * Report all unsafe acts, unsafe conditions and injuries to the appropriate person or office * Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. * Follow Master Cleaning Schedule. * Conduct Pre-op inspections. * Other duties as assigned.
Skill Requirements * Working knowledge of complete production line and understanding of Lean Management principles and concepts. * Solid understanding and application of all GMP's and Safety procedures * Ability to use basic math skills * Ability to recognize tasks that need to be completed and complete them. * Occasional heavy lifting with a weight range of 40 -60 pounds. * Ability to use a pallet jack and powered lift. * Effective communication and teamwork skills.
