Scheduler-Light Rail

We are presently seeking an experienced Construction Scheduler to join us in Irvine, CA to provide scheduling services to assist Southern California rail construction efforts. DETAILED JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: This position will be responsible for providing scheduling and claims support and will assist in the assessment of current project schedule milestones. Candidate will be responsible for: reviewing and commenting on construction contract baseline schedules developed by the contractors, reviewing and commenting on monthly progress schedules and progress reports submitted by contractors. Requirements: BS degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building/Construction Management 5-10 years scheduling experience and a strong background using Primavera P6 scheduling softwareExperience working on rail projects is preferredExperience with construction schedules for the design-build phase of the projects, and cost control experience on capital project developmentCritical Path Method (CPM) scheduling knowledge/experience and the ability to analyze schedules to determine duration and logic issuesProficiency developing detailed resource loaded design and construction schedules, and preparing progress/status reports and performance of earned value analysisExperience with time impact analysisConstruction claims and change order experience is preferredConstruction scheduler should have experience integrating the construction schedule into the master scheduleCandidate must be able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communications skills http://www.hillintl.com/employment/everify/index.html Hill International is an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/D/V
