Regeneron commercializes medicines for eye diseases, high LDL-cholesterol, and a rare inflammatory condition and has product candidates in development in other areas of high unmet medical need, including oncology, rheumatoid arthritis, asthma, atopic dermatitis, pain, and infectious diseases. br / br / Summary: br / The Target Discovery group seeks a passionate and motivated Scientist to perform and develop results-focused, biology-first image analysis methods for a broad spectrum of preclinical 2D and 3D imaging modalities. br / br / The successful candidate will work closely with a senior imaging scientist to provide results, interpretation, guidance and methods for many different therapeutic groups in both discovery and early clinical sciences. Current projects include comparisons of genetic knockout mice and their wildtype counterparts, vascular development differences in knockout mouse yolk sac and placentae, vascular tree changes in pulmonary hypertension mouse models, brain morphology differences in Alzheimer mouse models and their treated counterparts, immunoPET biodistribution and tumor treatment studies, and morphometric assessment of tumor microenvironment from digital pathology data. However, projects are always changing as new ideas and opportunities present themselves. br / br / Responsibilities: br / * Analyze and interpret image data, taking advantage of existing software packages and developing custom tools as necessary to quantitate or visualize biologically relevant metrics br / * Contribute expertise and guidance to collaborators to design robust experiments and assays with quantitative imaging endpoints br / * Implement streamlined workflows to manage, view, and analyze image data br / * Assist and teach others in the use of imaging methods, software and tools br / * Prepare clear, concise and communicative presentations and documentation for collaborators and senior management br / br /
