Scientist I, Development Translational Medicine

The Translational Sciences and Technology group is looking for a qualified individual to support biomarker assay development for programs in the Biogen Idec pipeline.
Responsibilities will include the development, qualification/validation of appropriate assays to measure protein therapeutics, immune response to such therapeutics, and pharmacodynamic/disease biomarker changes in support of Preclinical and clinical studies in accordance with current guidelines and industry standards for PK immunogenicity and biomarker assays.
This individual will work closely and collaboratively with colleagues to ensure optimum progression of projects will be essential for this position
He/She may interact with contract research organizations to transfer the assays developed.
Successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in the Bioanalytical area, an interest and aptitude in learning new technologies, attention to detail, flexibility and strong work ethics to meet demanding timelines and excellent written and verbal communications skills.
