DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop & execute baculoviral, E. coli & mammalian recombinant protein expression strategies to support the protein needs of fragment-based screening (FBS), crystallization, protein NMR & other biophysical studies
- Maintain viral stocks & prepare cell lines for large scale expression
- Execute HTP cloning & expression strategies on multiple constructs in small scale towards biophysical characterization of these proteins
- Provide molecular biology support for protein clone & vector design. Coordinate external requests for construct synthesis & biomass production
- Maintain appropriate notebook records of all studies, & satisfy all SOP lab requirements
- Report to Supervisor of the Structural Research Protein Chemistry lab
