The Hematology Research Group is part of Pfizer's Biotherapeutics Unit, one of the two major units in Pfizer Worldwide RD. Pfizer Hematology Research applies a heavily externalized model; the team advances internal programs in a matrix environment & to a significant degree collaborates with external partners in academia, industry & at commercial service providers. br /br /strongResponsibilities /strongbr /The ideal c&idate will be a highly motivated, dynamic laboratory scientist with demonstrated experience & expertise with in vitro assays to contribute to & support project advancements the in Hematology Research group. br /br /Applicants must have experience in wide range of in vitro assays. br /br /The primary focus will be on in vitro pharmacology, however, experience in conducting in vivo studies (small animal models) & cell based assays is a plus.br /br /The c&idate will work closely together with other team members to deliver data to support project advancements. br /br /Experience in the field of hematology/hemophilia & familiarity with relevant assays a plus. Solid experience setting up & performing in vitro assays is required. br /br /strongQualifications /strongbr /Prior experience working within laboratory setting (MS minimum 5 year, PhD 2 + year) in Biomedical Sciences, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or related field with in a pharmaceutical setting; experience in non-clinical hematology research; experience in vitro assays.
