Quantum Research is currently seeking an experienced candidate to provide support as a Scientist Group 2 Lead in the Operationally Responsive Space Office at Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque NM to provide support in the areas of Policy, Strategy, Planning, & Future Concepts. Candidate must have a Masters Degree and 25 years of experience providing the expertise to support formulation, development, integration and coordination of space policies, strategies, plans, roadmaps, and doctrine for ORS across the DoD, IC, civil, commercial, and international domains. This effort includes the review of current or emerging national policy for impacts on, and applicability to space. Candidate will support the development of implementation strategies for ORS policy and provide the expertise to support and/or participate in modernization and integration planning efforts. These efforts may require collaboration with DoD and IC organizations and other civil agencies and industry, as required, to support and/or participate in the development of mission concepts, roadmaps, mission area plans, mission needs analyses, operational concepts development, system costs, and other efforts related to modernization and integration planning. Candidate will provide the expertise to support identification of opportunities for integrating new and emerging technologies and capabilities from DoD, IC, civil, and commercial sources into ORS and ORS-related applications and missions. Candidate will also provide planning, acquisition, and execution capabilities to support migration of technologies to appropriate ORS programs and missions assigned by AFSPC and/or STRATCOM. Activities shall be accomplished in an integrated manner involving technology laboratories and the operational end user, as appropriate.
Degree: Masters Degree and 25 years of related experience
Subject: Technical Degree in Engineering, the Physical Sciences, or appropriate related fields
