Organize and facilitate Release Planning, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives and other Scrum-related meetings.
Track and communicate team velocity and sprint/release progress.
Serve as a liaison between product owners, developers, management and other stakeholders
Increase team productivity by identifying and removing barriers to progress, while mitigating distractions to improve team focus.
Train, coach, & mentor team members in regards to Agile principles and practices.
Work with Product Owners to keep backlog healthy and prepared for execution.
Measure and improve team productivity.
Maintain a manner of leadership and flexibility that diffuses pressure and promotes a team atmosphere.
Proactively focus on performance and process improvement.
2+ years of Scrum Master experience.
Thorough understanding of agile software development methodologies, values, and procedures.
Understanding of backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, and task definition.
Understanding of the software development life-cycle.
Ability to understand technical issues.
Ability to work effectively with Executives, Business Partners, Directors, and Product Owners.
Must be a team player, pragmatic, self-starter, process-driven, results oriented while capable of managing multiple priorities and tasks.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to handle diverse situations, multiple projects and rapidly changing priorities..
Exceptional communication skills addressing a variety of cross-functional stakeholders including product owners, developers, QA, release management, operations and other technical teams.
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, Visio, and Outlook.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Scrum Master Certification.
Experience in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
Familiarity with Microsoft s Team Foundation Server.
Experience working with on-shore and off-shore development teams.
