Responsibilities:

* Owns the throughput of the team by knowing the work, enforcing how the work gets done by leveraging Agile and Lean principles and practices, ensuring continuous improvement and exhibiting strong servant leadership traits
* Facilitates, enforces and defends the sprint delivery and the need for reliable, sustained delivery
* Proactively looks ahead to identify and mitigate potential impacts to delivery
* Partners with project leads and product leads to ensure the team is producing a solution that meets standards, procedures and practices while aggressively addressing issues, risks and mitigation plans
* Ensures sprint-based events are facilitated, the outcomes are achieved and their cadence is maintained
* Instills a sense of urgency reflecting the goals for the sprint, upcoming releases, and long term vision
* Proactively identifies and removes blockers, limits work in progress and prevents distractions to the team
* Facilitates frequent retrospectives, sharing metrics to identify and implement improvements
* Builds and fosters an environment of trust through transparency
* Participates proactively in developing and maintaining team standards, tools, and best practices

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, MIS/CIS, Engineering, or related field (required)
* 2+ years' experience in a software development environment
* An experienced, hands-on Agile and Lean practitioner with a minimum 1+ years of Scrum Master experience
* Experience with eCommerce, OmniChannel, Supply Chain, Finance or Infrastructure projects is a plus
* Strong project management skills with a proven track record of leading small projects and initiatives or requirements/process/testing aspects of larger projects with minimal oversight
* Experience overseeing solution delivery teams with at least 10 team members
* Ability to lead business and IT associates with strong interpersonal skills, including collaboration, facilitation, leadership, and negotiation skills
* Has a visible, optimistic drive to inspire the team and make a difference within a fast-paced, highly dynamic work environment
* Excellent written and verbal communications skills to facilitate communications between and among highly experienced business and IT associates
