We ve started on a DevOps transformation at Veritas, and we need your help! The Information Protection Solutions (IPS) organization develops market leading data protection and orchestration solutions. The team you will be joining is focused on how to enhance development and operational efficiencies. We ll do this by modernizing our processes/workflow and building a robust Continuous Integration/Deployment pipeline.

What You ll Work On:


Research current process and practices within the development organization. With that understanding, you ll apply DevOps principles on how to transform and evolve.

Participate in an Agile Software Development Life Cycle. This transformation has already happened in our organization. But you ll help by pushing some of the agile tenets we strive for like Lean/Continuous Integration/Test-driven development

Coordinate and facilitate planning meetings, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives and demos.

Enable close cooperation across roles and functions internal and external to the scrum team.

Remove barriers to incremental progress and shield the team from external interference.

Promote continuous improvement by frequent operational reflections.

Enable a culture of facing the difficult questions lingering within the team and help resolve those questions with mutual participation and any other stakeholders if needed.

Share responsibility for quality of work delivered by your team and hold yourself and the team accountable.

Play a crucial interface role between the technical team and the product owner, ensuring there is good collaboration.

Interface with manager for help if any needed for impediments and people issues.

Collaborate with team members around the globe (India, China and US offices in Florida, Minnesota and California)

What We Need From You:


Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Skills & Abilities including servant leadership, communication, collaboration/facilitation, enthusiasm, assertiveness, time management, conflict resolution, attitude of empowerment and transparency

Knowledge of Agile tools like JIRA

2+ years working through the design, development, release cycle, and delivery of software products to market

Experience with scrum methodology and agile techniques such as user stories, ATDD, TDD, continuous integration, continuous testing, pairing, automated testing, agile games
