Position Overview

The Search Engine Marketing Specialist is responsible for the continuous improvement and long-term success of the online marketing efforts for the three EBSCO Sign Group divisions: Stewart Signs, EBSCO Signs & Displays, and Outdoor Signs America. Job functions include identifying, prioritizing and executing improvement opportunities in pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, search engine optimization (SEO), and customer referral programs. This includes defining metrics, creating strategies, making changes and reporting results for each business division.



A successful Search Engine Marketing Specialist is one that can increase the qualified contact opportunities for our retail and wholesale divisions, as well as increase the sales revenue for our e-commerce division. This is to be achieved through a targeted and cost-effective combination of PPC, natural, referral and direct traffic. We are looking for a passionate individual who knows how to drive online marketing efforts to positive results. This position is based in our Sarasota, Florida sales office.



Essential Job Functions

*

Administering and coordinating large PPC campaigns for multiple business entities, and maintaining overall budgets and individual target costs for each campaign.
*

Developing and testing combinations of PPC components for effectiveness, such as different ads and landing pages.
*

Creating and adding new content, and making minor structural changes to multiple websites for improved SEO.
*

Creating and maintaining online customer referral programs.
*

Maintaining reports and analysis of online marketing efforts.

Skills

Requirements

*

Have a thorough understanding of the process and tools used for Google AdWords, Bing Ads, Facebook and other pay-per-click providers.
*

Have a thorough understanding of current search engine optimization best practices, and ability to make minor website changes to enact them.
*

Strong project management and prioritization skills.
*

Ability to communicate information effectively to groups and individuals.
*

Ability to effectively use Office tools such as Outlook, Word and Excel.
*

Bachelor s degree or higher is required, with 3 year s job experience in search engine marketing.

Understanding of our business logic, products and the sales process.

Ability to adapt to quickly changing technology.

Critical thinking skills for application to special projects



Physical and Mental Requirements
