Provides administrative support and project coordination to multiple members of team and all departmental activities/projects. Works in extremely fast-paced, multi-faceted office setting with multiple activities/projects/special events occurring simultaneously. Interfaces regularly with visitors and staff from all levels of the organization, including donors, administration, volunteers, physicians, media and patients/families. Performs data entry, reception duties, scheduling, budget tracking, inventory supply, mailings, filing and overall organization of office. Must be able to prioritize projects, manage time and adapt quickly to change. Associates Degree Preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and desktop publishing software. Ability to compose correspondence and proof assignments to ensure accuracy of documents. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills required.Ability to independently take initiative and exercise good judgment in decision making. Individual must be self-motivated and willing to self-direct. Ability to work efficiently and effectively under deadline pressures and to simultaneously handle multiple assignments and projects with speed and accuracy under time constraints. Ability to recall and manage large amounts of information. Ability to work with individuals in a tactful and diplomatic manner that enhances the image of the office.
