Universal Protection Service is now hiring for a Lead Security Receptionist. This person will be responsible for providing support for the security operations of the assigned client location. This position reports to the Assistant/Director of Security to assist in the day-to-day operations. The salary for this position is $18.00 Hourly.


The Lead Security Receptionist will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
* Maintain communication with all Receptionists and security staff via phone/email regarding visitors, events, and all other relevant information.
* Review/maintain and update security professional training modules as needed.
* Train new/existing Security Reception Officers
* Answer telephone, screen and direct calls
* Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
* Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories; giving instructions.
* Maintains security by following procedures; monitoring the Visitor Management System; issuing visitor badges.
* Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
* Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
* Special projects assigned as needed.

Position Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* 2 years of security supervisor/ administrative experience preferred.
* Demonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines. Must be highly organized.
* Professional, articulate and able to use good independent judgment and discretion. Must have proven ability to maintain correspondence, discussions and materials in strictest confidence. Must have schedule flexibility.
* Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required with the ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization while functioning as a team player.
* Ability to adapt to change, meet the changing demands of the work environment, any delays or other unexpected demands.
* Punctuality
* A sound knowledge of telephone etiquette
