Under the direction of the DPO and Maintenance Supervisor, provides Security Services to protect life and property of all persons on the hospital premises responds to all Emergency/Fire Codes and protects property from Fire, theft and vandalism. Ensures the quality of service provided is appropriate that maintains active and satisfactory working relationships with staff, clients, and contractors. Also, provides support and coordination in the overall operation of the department.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION)

EDUCATION: High school diploma or high school equivalent.
EXPERIENCE: 5 yrs minimum security or law enforcement experience, preferably in a hospital setting, military experience may be considered. Must have a valid Louisiana Driver s license.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to successfully complete established competencies for the position within designated probationary period.
HOURS OF WORK: As scheduled.
