General Statement of JobThe Lobby Specialist will work with a well-selected team of professionals in a fast-paced environment. Duties include but are not limited to; answering phones, ensuring phone calls are properly directed, and greeting guests in a professional, friendly, and hospitable manner. In addition, the Lobby Specialist will work hand in hand with local management and all employees assigned to the particular area of responsibility to ensure a safe and secure work environment for the client, its employees, and guests. We use a variety of different computer applications in our day-to-day security operations, so the successful applicant must have a general aptitude and experience using different types of computer software. The Lobby Specialist reports directly to the Operations Manager.Specific Duties and Responsibilities Greet all employees and visitors in a professional, friendly, and hospitable manner Provide excellent customer service to the client, it's associates and facility personnel Answer phone calls and ensure that all calls are directed properly Generate and issue badges for all visitors to the site Ensure all personnel entering the site have proper ID and authorization Responsible for receiving and coordinating all mail and packages Creating and documenting incident reports as needed Assisting with various administrative duties as neededAdditional Job Functions Assist with all aspects of security operations requested by management and/or the client Perform other related duties as requiredMinimum Qualifications and Requirements High School Diploma or GED required Minimum two years experience in customer service; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the position Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access) in PC AND MAC operating environments Must be technically competent- ability to learn and master new software programs Excellent phone etiquette and people skills Must posses the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management Must have strong verbal and written communication skills A dependable team player with business maturity, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude Positive attitude and outgoing personality are essential Ability to multitask and remain cordial and professional in stressful situations Must be a problem solverWhat we can offer: $13/HR Full time employees are eligible for Health, Dental and Vision benefits, access to dependent coverage and a variety of other benefits , plus eligibility to contribute to a 401k Plan after the first year of employment Paid Time Off A dynamic and challenging work environmentSecurity Industry Specialists, Inc.Private Investigator & Security Guard Provider (#20162100160018)
