Senior ABAP Developer - ReqCode HV051516

Programmer Analyst III is a technical champion primarily responsible for providing technical expertise and HR ABAP programming in an SAP HCM environment; performs complex technical design and development activities across different systems and teams, and writes ABAP code as needed. Provides mentoring, coaching & ensures cross training.
Coordinates/leads complex technical design and development activities:

* Designs and develops HR ABAP objects in an SAP environment

* Tasks include programming of transactions, reports, WebDynpros, user exits and BADIs, Enhancement points, services, function modules, dictionary maintenance and custom table development

* Provides analytical and technical leadership

* Debugs program abends and resolves performance issues

* Provides technical guidance / direction / feedback to staff (strong leadership)

* As technical champion partners and acts as liaison, provides technical HR expertise to architecture team(s)

* Participates in the creation, review and maintenance of development standards/best practices and ensures compliance

* Provides status and escalates issues as appropriate

Solution Responsibilities (involvement may focus on complex/high priority tasks):

* Manages daily project assignments effectively and efficiently.

* Analyzes, creates and/or reviews specifications

* Participates in the process to refine the estimate as a deliverable of the specification

* Participates in determining/creating the solution and/or reviews highly complex solutions prior to implementation

* Ensures successful development to support transition

EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
6+ years of demonstrated hands on experience in the design and development of
ABAP objects, technical specifications, application development, testing, and implementation across enterprise wide systems
