We are in search of a Senior Account Executive in our outdoors division with experience in digital/online and print sales. The senior account executive is responsible for advertising sales and service contact with existing and prospective clients in order to develop and grow accounts through product recommendations, relationship building and excellent customer service.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Sell print, digital and online advertising to account list as directed by the advertising sales manager
*Meet or exceed advertising print, digital & online sales budgets
*Research and develop new prospect account list
*Meet minimum sales calls per advertising sales procedure
*Develop advertising strategies for clients to incorporate multiple Grand View Outdoors publications and online products
*Meet production deadlines for advertising materials
*Ensure timely client approval of advertisements
*Meet accounting requirements for new and delinquent accounts
*Develop and maintain up to date sales and client activity reports
*Place emphasis on annual contract sales vs. issue sales
*Monitor competitive media for client/prospect activity
*Create new promotional pieces and advertising sales sheets to increase business
*Work actively as a team member to ensure maximum sales revenue is achieved for each issue
*Map out a yearly travel plan to maximize industry functions along with client visits while in a geographical area
*Attend industry events and functions as well as existing and prospective businesses

Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or similar.
*

3+ years successful sales experience either consumer or B2B titles.
*

1+ year(s) experience with digital media including banner sales and design, mobile advertising, and social media platforms.



Preferred Skills

5 or more years sales experience in outdoor markets
*

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including well-developed presentation skills.
*

Ability to work independently and/or in cooperation with a team or group.
*

Ability to develop ideas and follow through with their completion.
*

Strong relationship building and external and internal client service background.
*

Ability to organize/prioritize tasks and handle multiple assignments while meeting deadlines in an environment subject to frequent changes and interruptions.
*

Ability to distill reports from internet provider and consolidate/share with management.
*

Proven computer skills utilizing MS Office suite.



Travel Required (Approximate):

Up to 25% to attend client meetings, tradeshows, etc. as needed.
