As the successful SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER, you are responsible for managing the day to day screening program for your book of business. As a strategic advisor to your accounts, you have the opportunity to expand the Sterling footprint with your customers via incremental product and services and work diligently to develop and enhance resilient client relationships. The Senior Account Manager is a critical role for the growth of Sterling Talent Solutions!

VERTICAL: Retail

Your typical job functions would include:

RELATIONSHIP CULTIVATION AND STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT

* Maintain full ownership of a book of business, up to 20 accounts
* Act as a strategic advisor to your client base by being the "go to" person for strategic account needs
* Become an industry expert on an assigned vertical(s) to better understand each client's organizational dynamics and probe to discover model and core initiatives in a solutions sales capacity
* Identify and develop multi-level relationships with key decision makers to ensure retention and relationship stability regardless of client's turnover in key roles

CONSULTATIVE SELLING TO EXISTING BUSINESS

* Create strategic account plans as a roadmap to grow customer revenue and deliver world class customer satisfaction
* Grow customer book of business to target vs. prior year, driven by existing revenue retention and closing new business

* Implement long term contract agreements with clients to review and grow revenue
* Propose additional products and services to expand footprint within existing accounts

METRICS, REPORTING AND CLIENT STRATEGY

* Conduct regular business reviews using value add propositions to mitigate client risk and enhance background screening programs
* Monitor and analyze development and strategic progression for all client accounts

What does it take to be successful in this role

* 5-7 years of successful strategic account management/salesexperience (Ideal experience working with all levels of Human Resources departments)
* Ability to effectively communicate with senior level decision makers within organizations and successfully handle objections and demonstrate negotiation skills
* Superior program management and presentation skills
* Proven track record in maintaining long term business partnerships with clients
* Proficiency using CRM Platform is ideal
* Customer centric mindset
* Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
* Willingness to travel, approximately 25%
