We are currently seeking an experienced Sr. Account Executive to service the Eastern with a proven record of success in meeting/exceeding assigned quotas while specifically selling enterprise-class storage solutions. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The Senior Account Executive is responsible for the full sales lifecycle: planning, goal-setting, researching, contacting, qualifying, consulting, evangelizing, selling and servicing new and existing customers. Additional responsibilities of the Sr. Account Executive include:
Penetrate new clients within assigned territory, leveraging NetApp (SolidFire) s marketing activities as well as your own prospecting efforts
Collaborate with Channel Partners to boost revenue driving activities
Create value-based sales proposals to prospective decision makers
Partner with customers to build business objectives and articulate a next generation approach to leading the customer s transition to the Cloud
Fearlessness to challenge customer perspectives or bias towards legacy designs with a consultative approach
Cultivate a channel ecosystem and exhibit trust in partner community
Value based selling experience, TCO / ROI models
Proven ability to sell highly differentiated offerings at appropriate premiums to commodity pricing in the marketplace
Leverage current network of service providers and SaaS providers
Strong Passion to be successful
Proficient with Salesforce.com and understanding of the importance of business metrics. Leverage analytics and business tools to increase your success while providing NetApp (SolidFire) with accurate visibility into your business
Expertise in navigating complex sales processes to insure effort is being placed into opportunities where there is a great probability of customer success and your success
Experience/success at opening new accounts - the very best understand that they own a portion of their pipeline development and they take great pride in being able to do so
Represent NetApp (SolidFire) in a professional and ethical manner to clients, prospects and colleagues
Proven ability to leverage marketing investments, channel community, and own prospecting efforts to build well qualified pipeline
Ability to prospect and manage C-level relationships within large organizations
Collaborative skills accessing internal management and other sales team members in the sales cycle and provide ongoing feedback to other business verticals within NetApp (SolidFire)
Strategic understanding of install base business, model and growth strategy to continually address future needs to increase NetApp (SolidFire) share of wallet
Travel requirements of 20-25%
Education and Experience
10+ years experience in technology/ Software /Storage sales
SaaS model sales, selling infrastructure as a service or Web/Cable Telco experience
