You must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and three years of experience. Your responsibilities will include complex intercompany reconciliations, ad-hoc reporting and research projects, producing insightful reports for management, and advising on technical GAAP issues. You will be working among talented, high-performing, accounting professionals at a corporate location where speed and accuracy are key. Your role will have a high career-ceiling as this business unit only promotes managers from inside the company. This is a work-hard, play-hard, reward well culture. br B /B br B As a Senior Accountant your job responsibilities will include: /B br br ul
li Complex account, bank and general ledger reconciliations. /li li Technical GAAP research as it relates to various transactions. /li li Creating journal entries at month end. /li li Leading the month-end close in the Assistant Controller’s absence. /li li Provide post-close analysis to the Accounting Manager, highlighting any variances. /li li Assist with special projects as it relates to process improvement or GAAP research as needed. /li /ul

li Bachelor’s degree in Accounting /li li CPA certification, or measurable work towards CPA certification is preferred /li li Three years of experience in Accounting, with a measurable track record of promotion /li li Knowledge of the Financial Services industry: private equity, hedge funds, fund of funds, etc. /li /ul
