Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. To perform this job successfully, the Senior Accountant may be expected to perform some or all of the duties listed, and work on special projects as needed.
Review journal entries and account reconciliations prepared by others.
Assist with external audits.
Assist with technology projects as they relate to accounting.
Perform and assist with internal control functions in the accounting department.
Serve as a backup to all roles in accounting for the Accounting Manager.
Lead special projects as assigned.
Research accounting issues and present findings to management in a clear/concise manner.
Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise staff as required.
