Our client, a real estate firm located in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team! This position is a new position due to the success and growth the company has encountered! DUTIES:

* Oversee the financial reporting process for your portfolio
* Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements
* Explain budget variances along with creating an executive summary monthly
* Forecast cash flow needs when required
* Annually assist with the budget process
* Coordinate the annual Operating and Real Estate tax reconciliations billings
* Monitor procedures and internal controls to ensure compliance with Company policies and make recommendations for improvements
* Participate in special projects as needed

REQUIREMENTS

* BA/BS in Accounting
* 3-5 Years Real Estate Accounting experience or Public Accounting experience with Real Estate clients preferred
* Expertise in cash and accrual-based property accounting
* Review financial statements
* Ability to understand and interpret lease documents
* Thorough understanding of CAM and RET
* Dedicated to meeting the expectations of Clients, Lenders, and Management
* Adaptability to deal with various tasks, environments, and people
* Strong planning and organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
* Highly motivated
* Excellent communication skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
