This very long standing Portland company is hiring due to a coming retirement and has a vibrant team that will be excellent business partners.   br   br Your new role will focus in Management Reporting, Controls, and Review of transactional accounting.  We will let you flex your mental muscles taking part in forecasting and budgeting, cash flow analysis, monthly review of journal entries and transactions, and participation in controls analysis across this divisional location.  This is one of 3 key positions that partners with the Corporate HQ to maintain controls.   br   br Your typical responsibilities will look something like this: br ul
li Budget and monthly re-forecast for entire financial statements /li li Lots of Ad-hoc management reporting, model building, and strategic conversations /li li Participate in regular accounting processes and procedures, gaining knowledge both for purposes of participation and for knowledge of controls /li li You’ll have strong business partners on the Cost side, but you’ll roll their numbers the total company /li li Cash flow analysis, Revenue Forecasts, and Special Projects /li li Review of Accounts Payable produced by the AP team for proper coding, controls, and results /li /ul
  br We need someone who has: br ul
li BS in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, etc /li li 4+ years of experience in Accounting and Finance /li li Experience should include hands-on budget/forecasting /li li Public Accounting experience considered a plus, or first-hand experience in testing controls /li li Manufacturing Experience a must! /li li Expert level of Excel and data extraction /li li Experience with an EPM tool – strong report writing experience /li /ul
