Job Description

Position Summary:

The Senior Analyst Product Development reports to the Manager Onboard Technology and is responsible for implementing changes and enhancements to JetBlue's overall product vision that improves the JetBlue Customer experience. This position oversees the direct relationship with LiveTV, including all program management for JetBlue's Inflight Entertainment (IFE) system and assists in designing the Customer Experience for the new Wi-Fi product.

The Senior Analyst is a self-motivated and inquisitive individual who enjoys building and maintaining relationships with people from different levels within and outside of the organization. The Senior Analyst is analytical and is skilled at navigating a matrix organization while gaining acceptance of ideas or plans by using appropriate interpersonal styles. The Senior Analyst enjoys working on high profile projects, is passionate about ensuring Customers have a positive in-flight experience, and is a resilient individual whose personal values match JetBlue's values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Fun, and Passion.

Essential Responsibilities:

*Oversee all program maintenance for JetBlue's In-flight Entertainment (IFE) system, including developing budgets, creating enhancement plans, presenting forecasts, and obtaining approvals from internal stakeholders (35%)
*Manage relationships with internal/external Business Partners and select all IFE content on a monthly basis (channels, movies, etc.), which includes negotiating contracts with major motion picture studios/content distributors and ensuring delivery is in correct format and on schedule (35%)
*Create monthly playlists for JetBlue Features, PlusTV, and the Map Channel
*Select TV Channels on all aircraft along with special event programming
*Approve invoices for LiveTV and Content Distributors
*Hold LiveTV accountable to delivering service levels to our contract in terms of timing and cost
*Act as the main point of contact for Customers, Crewmembers, and LiveTV to ensure JetBlue's IFE enhances the Customer experience (10%)
*Negotiate and build contracts/relationships with potential Wi-Fi product partners for JetBlue's new onboard Wi-Fi product (20%)
*Other duties as assigned

Job Experience:

Minimum Experience and Qualifications:

*Bachelor's Degree required
*Three (3) to Five (5) years cross-functional project management experience
*One (1) to Two (2) years managing and forecasting a budget
*Legal experience (contractual) preferred
*Wi-Fi product and innovation experience preferred
*Available for moderate overnight travel (25%)
*Able to work flexible hours and be available for an emergency response on short notice
*Able to pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
*Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located

Supervision Received:

Plans and carries out work assignments; resolves most conflicts which arise; coordinates work with others as necessary; interprets policy on own initiative in terms of established objectives. Keeps crewleader/teamleader informed of progress, potentially controversial matters, or far-reaching implications.

*Regular attendance and punctuality
*Well groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance
*When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

Physical Effort: Generally not required, or up to 10 pounds occasionally, 0 pounds frequently. (Sedentary)
