Educaiton & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management,Mathematics, Engineering, or a computer-related field and a minimum of 8 years' of overall experience or equivalent.
Job Location: Columbia, MD
Responsibilities:
Provides senior project leadership experience and senior technical development and
system design skills. Responsible for designing and creating technical specifications
from functional specifications for complex development projects; analyzes the impacts of
vendor-provided updates and upgrades to the system; program solutions using the
PeopleTools suite. Provides production support by analyzing, designing, programming,
and testing solutions to complex production problems. Develops test scenarios and test
cases. Corrects data in critical situations.
Qualifications:
* Eight (8) years of experience in information systems implementation, change
management efforts or application process redesign;
* Six (6) years of technical development experience with PeopleSoft™ ERP
including recent experience with PeopleSoft™ 9.x;
* Eight (8) years experience in developing, prototyping, and testing solutions
for information systems implementation;
Certified PeopleSoft™ training shall include at a minimum:
o PeopleTools I,
o PeopleTools II,
o PeopleCode,
o Workflow,
o Integration Broker,
o One (1) additional technical class (e.g. App Engine, Component Interface,
etc.)
o Completion of a certified PeopleSoft application class in the application
the position is assigned to support and/or implement. (PeopleSoft™
HRMS, PeopleSoft™ Portal, PeopleSoft™ Enterprise Learning
Management, PeopleSoft™ Supply Chain Management)

* Two (2) years of experience with ORACLE and SQL commands.
* Technical development experience with Enterprise Service Bus (ESB)
technology.
* Experience applying broad management skills and specialized functional and
technical expertise to lead information systems projects.
* Technical development experience implementing PeopleSoft™.
* Experience providing subject matter expertise in industry, process, or
technology areas.
* Experience with design and process documentation.
* Experience with unit testing IT applications.
