What will I be doing? The Senior Architect for Data Services Architecture will coordinate enhancement efforts with the business, infrastructure and vendors. The Team Member will engage with the business, eliciting feedback and leading enhancement discussions. The Senior Architect for Data Services Architecture will be responsible for the oversight of EIM data architecture and associated data interfaces, including production support, data governance, application configuration, enhancement testing and business continuity testing. Other key priorities are listed below: * Provide leadership in delivery of project and initiatives * Lead the technical delivery of initiatives through the standard methodology from project approval to deployment * Participate and provide technical leadership to internal and external partners in strategy and project initiation, architecture, requirements analysis, design, project management and systems integration activities * Ability to foster strong, collaborative relationships with IT and business partners, and maintain active involvement in daily work of teams and its members * Work with the organization's IT Leadership to design and implement short-term and long-term architecture strategies utilizing industry best practices for managing technology * Work across teams to define, develop and implement standards, policies and procedures to ensure the stability of the applications and integrity of all environments * Responsible for ongoing improvement of technical, analytical, and procedural tasks * Direct involvement with managing capacity and performance while maintaining application stability * Work with other IT Directors to provide technical guidance and integration of backend systems * Responsible for providing input into the release scheduling process including all maintenance and project releases; escalation point for system support, provide necessary communication to the architecture teams and IT leadership * Support the data delivery and integration * Support the annual audit processes, both internal and external audits * Troubleshoot system-related issues and coordinate issue resolution * Lead the EIM data architecture and database administration teams * Control user access to the EIM applications including the creation and provisioning of user groups and security profiles * Control the process to create, modify, test and promote business rules, calculations, reports, dashboards, etc., to meet the needs of the business * Control the process to set up and maintain metadata structures across EIM * Enforce data governance policy associated with EIM and its ancillary processes * Enforce Standard Operating Procedures related to interfaces, system access and change management * Be the system advocate and subject matter expert for the data architecture * Participate in cross-functional projects as the subject matter expert for data architecture * Coordinate IT activities with EIM users, EIM administrators, Infrastructure, Oracle product support with respect to system patching, upgrades, outages, troubleshooting, code promotion, etc. * Be a proactive risk manager for the EIM systems * Experience with system governance to include both establishing and enforcing policy * Must be comfortable interacting with management of all levels * Excellent project planning and resource coordination experience * Ability to facilitate meetings effectively * Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work with individuals at all levels in the organization and strong relationship building abilities * Excellent team building and leadership skills Hilton World Wide Inc. is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
