JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY We seek an experienced art director with a love of fashion and passion for concept and design to join our Contemporary Fashion team in New York.

We seek people who:
Effectively communicate each brand s message strategy to identified target audiences
Create design assets including retail, sales and business development collateral, product branding and digital assets to support marketing initiatives
Ensure projects are initiated with detailed creative brief and necessary product samples, ensuring completion on time and on budget
Integrate relevant and appropriate level of style and fashion in all creative work consistent with brand position and target audience
Research competitive environment, market and industry trends, with insight into each brand s consumer segments
Work collaboratively with web, merchandising and creative teams to develop engaging, on-brand designs and web-based merchandising solutions
We seek people with these qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in commercial art or related art degree
5+ years experience in an advertising agency or creative department
A diverse, brand-oriented portfolio of creative work
Ability to communicate creative concepts to clients and senior management
Strong understanding of the creative process and formulation of brand strategy
Knowledge of shoe and fashion industry preferred
Proficient in pre-press and print production
Required: Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat (MAC)
Preferred: Adobe Lightroom, basic web & video tools
