Job Description

The Senior Associate, Client Services is responsible for the maintenance and administration of the network and server infrastructure, client services oversight for the location with limited system administration. Within this responsibility falls the analysis of server, network, and application system requirements, design specifications, validation and change control activities, troubleshooting, support and backup/recovery procedures. These activities directly impact ongoing Research and Development and Discovery work at the facility. The Senior Associate, Client Services must have a clear understanding of cGMP and FDA guidelines and requirements and know when they are applicable. The Senior Associate, Client Services will support the activities of the Cranbury, NJ R&D facility as deemed necessary by management.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
-Support the IT systems and provide oversight of client services activities at the Cranbury, NJ facility.
-Responsible for determining server hardware requirements and configuration to enhance existing systems and implement new systems. To include building, upgrading, maintaining and administering servers, performing user account maintenance and administering network resource rights and permissions.
-Responsible for the creation and execution of various validation documentation and protocols for system testing, change control, etc.
-Responsible for the configuration and execution of the data backup/recovery system to preserve integrity of records and data.
-Responsible for monitoring patch management on system servers in order to guard against external threats.
-Responsible for handling all IT related moves, adds, changes and disposals while updating an Inventory Management System.
Educational Requirements
A bachelors degree or 3-5 years working experience with server and network architecture. With MCSE, Cisco, VMWare and/or NetApps certification or comparable experience.

Technical Requirements
-The Senior Associate, Client Services should have a strong technical background in server and network architecture and configuration as well as server operating systems.
-Individual should have a keen understanding of TCP/IP protocols and their configuration and be efficient in troubleshooting connectivity errors.
-Must understand server and network redundancy concepts, configuration options and implementation of data backups and restores and record retention.
-Senior Associate, Client Services must have an understanding of System Development Life Cycle concepts and protocols as well as validation strategies and techniques. Should be experienced in authoring and executing validation documentation and scripts. certification or comparable experience.
-Working knowledge of 21 CFR, cGMP requirements, and adherence to SOPs and guidelines in a validated environment.
-Should be able to work well independently as well as on a team.
-Demonstrate good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
