The Senior Benefits Analyst will be responsible for the data analytics and managing of the administration of health and welfare benefits, including Annual Enrollment. The Team Member will be required to have a strong benefits background, knowledge of Hilton Worldwide systems (PeopleSoft HR), knowledge of Aon Hewitt systems (Total Benefits Administration), and knowledge of multiple external benefits vendor partner eligibility and reporting systems. What will I be doing? The Senior Benefits Analyst will troubleshoot and serve as a liaison to Payroll, HR systems, Legal, field and corporate Human Resources, Operations, health and benefits consultants, benefits administrators and carriers. Other key priorities are listed below: * Analyze and summarize financial and statistical data and provide design recommendations on a variety of health and welfare programs to management and key internal stakeholders * Assist with projects including data research, benchmarking, program analysis, timeline development, and coordination of inquiries from key stakeholders and vendor partners * Collaborate with HR and both internal and external partners on benefit program design (including benefits requirements reviews) and implementation * Responsible for vendor management for U.S. Health and Welfare plans including reviewing quarterly reporting and performance standards * Responsible for project management of the U.S. Annual Enrolment process for Health and Welfare plans * Eliminate redundancies by creating automated applications, eliminating duplication and coordinating information requests * Maintain knowledge of various health and welfare plans and internal operating procedures and keep abreast of current legislation governing health and welfare benefits * Maintain effective controls for health and welfare processes, audits, analysis and reporting * Ensure government reporting requirements are met (5500s, SPDs, SMMs, ACA, SARs, etc.) in accordance with federal and state legislation and manage the ACA Employer Mandate compliance process with third party vendor * Assist with the presentation of the program strategy and costing to company stakeholders * Assist in the drafting and review of Benefits Communications * Strong analytical abilities to develop and interpret reports and make recommendations * Exceptional critical thinking and both quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with the ability to use logic and reasoning to resolve problems * Experience working with Labor Relations on compliance with Collective Bargaining Agreements and designing benefits and costing for union avoidance * Ability to exercise problem solving skills and independent judgment * Ability to summarize and present findings in a clear and concise manner and tell the story * Absolute discretion and confidentiality regarding sensitive information * Strong organizational and project management skills and superior attention to detail * Ability to work well under pressure and effectively handle multiple, concurrent demands and appropriately prioritize responsibilities * Excellent verbal and written skills Hilton World Wide Inc. is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
