Organizational Objective/Purpose:Product Services is a department within Shared Strategic Services, and is responsible for building and managing products and projects that enable all enterprises to satisfy the unique and varying financial needs of our 2.3 million households. Our core responsibilities include managing cross-enterprise platforms and services that deliver client experience systematically through investor and institutional web services, operational desktop systems, client reporting platforms, billing and pricing features, and offer management.

Brief Description of Role:The Business Analyst will report to the Managing Director of the Billing and Offer Management team within the Platform Services organization. The Billing and Offer Management team, in partnership with all business lines across the firm, provides subject matter expertise and business analysis services related to pricing and billing features and new offer development. In addition, for projects focused on enhancing existing products or services, or introducing new ones, we are often responsible for eliciting and documenting requirements that enable the delivery of consistent client experience across multiple systems and touch points. In these cases, the team gets involved early in the assessment of possible opportunities, and provides consulting services to help conceive approaches that are cost-effective and extensible across all business lines.

Responsibilities:Support final resolution of client escalations and assess escalated issues for system and process development implicationsTake accountability for design and efficacy of billing and offer management systems including ensuring that designs support platform directivesManage documentation and approval procedures to meet audit requirements, and coordinate audit projects for team Support business analysis and requirements development working with business owners and technology teams to deliver outstanding client experiences Manage critical analysis and validation tasks within complex cross-enterprise projects while demonstrating a strong understanding of how project elements impact the businessDefine project scope and business objectives within a broad strategic framework.Effectively facilitate requirements definition sessions with business and technical staffWrite business requirements and specifications, functional/conceptual design documents, build business case models, prepare UAT scripts and facilitate UAT testingInitiate interaction with other business units to coordinate and resolve problems

Technical/Functional Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred and 5+ years of experience in business/system analysis using structured analysis methodologyExperience with Use Case Modeling and Development Highly developed analytical and conceptual skillsExperience on large, complex and cross functional projects, with an emphasis on systems, technologies, and business process redesignAble to effectively elicit and translate business needs into system requirements.Superior oral presentation and writing skills Proficient with Excel, MS Project, Access and SQLExperience working with IT to translate high-level business requirements into detailed requirements that can be consumed by the technology teams and turned into design documents.Self-starting team player with an ability to think strategically and a positive attitudeAnalysts in this area play a unique role, and will interact on a daily basis with both business and technical partners. Knowledge of financial products and services, offers, promotions, and fulfillment systems a plus.
