You'll utilize the latest technologies in a collaborative environment and enjoy working with this well-known brand! /P P STRONG Summary BR /STRONG This is a 4-6 month+ contract opportunity. The Business Analyst is responsible for championing the interests and objectives of business owners within IT. The BA will specifically work with the Sales Division to gather requirements on 2 key initiatives and get them executed. The position requires experience using business analysis and related techniques to scope and elicit requirements. The BA must be able to communicate with ease equally with business owners, users, IT professionals, and external partners, including those at varying levels in the organization. This role will serve as organizer, facilitator, analyst, and problem solver. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to promote a team environment are essential, as are outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. MUST be able to handle and execute change in an enterprise organization. /P P STRONG Responsibilities BR /STRONG Work closely and interact directly with client's business owners and IT staff to identify, rationalize and document business requirements; and translate them into functional specifications which detail the approach to address and resolve the business needs. BR Conduct analysis that identifies current state business process or system inadequacies across multiple functional areas. Make process and systems improvement recommendations that assist the business in achieving its goals and objectives, leveraging best practices and professional experiences. Manage and control changes in project scope while communicating impact to management and team Manage individual work load and assist with defining and prioritizing tasks. Ensure appropriate project documentation is produced. Present information written and orally to IT and business audiences /P P Qualifications BR 5 or more years of relevant experience in a business analysis role gathering and soliciting business requirements. Experience with Sales Divisions and understanding the selling process required 5 or more years of experience with relevant software, including: Microsoft Office applications, MS Project, Visio, etc. Formal software development life cycle (SDLC) experience in working directly with the client or business sponsors Project Management, Change and Organizational Management experience all strongly preferred. Must maintain high level of professionalism at all times under all circumstances.
