JOB DESCRIPTIONPCI provides Calibration, Commissioning & Consulting solutions to our clients across multiple regulated industries including biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, food & beverage and more. We are seeking a Senior Calibration Technician with Process Instrumentation and Controls experience to add to our growing company. This Senior Calibration Technician position provides calibration support to one or more of our Eastern NC client facilities in cities such as Wilson, NC and Greenville, NC, as well as support needed at any of our clients across the United States. Some of the equipment requiring calibration include:
* environmental chambers and controls
* utility systems
* scales and balances
* electrical and dimensional instruments
* pressure, flow, vacuum and temperature gauges and instruments
The Senior Calibration Technician will also be responsible for cGMP compliant documentation and monitoring of quality systems. Along with documenting the calibrations performed, the instrumentation data and schedule will be maintained in a CMMS database. SAP, ProCal, RAM or Maximo experience is desired.
Required skills of the Senior Calibration Technician include:
Four year degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Electronics or other related technical field OR equivalent military training plus four years of applicable (metrology, instrumentation, calibration, I&C) experience OR the equivalent combination of education and experience. Quality System/Pharmaceutical experience is also required.
The Senior Calibration Technician position requires up to 75% overnight travel based on project and client needs.
