As our Senior Estimator, you will:

*Provide conceptual estimates, detailed estimates, detailed self-perform work estimates and cost models.

*Be well versed across all scopes, systems and assemblies including site work, structural, concrete, enclosure, finishes, mechanical, electrical and plumbing.

*Estimates labor, material, equipment and subcontractor costs.

*Provide ongoing reporting, value engineering and cost analysis throughout the design and construction phases.

*Work to develop best practices with our organization and the Project Management team.

*Assume light project management roles when needed.

Key responsibilities include:

*Work with project teams to develop and maintain pre-construction and construction estimates.

*Direct contract administration, procurement, scheduling and costing, supervise project, staff oversight and mentoring, risk management and quality control.

*Manage project financial information to ensure financial performance goals are met.

*Regularly provide project reports, documentation, technical assistance, support and collaboration.

*Foster effective and positive business relationships with all parties.

*Conduct quantity take-offs.

*Some Project Management assignments may be assigned.

*Develop team members.

The successful candidate will have a strong working knowledge of construction methods, processes and management practices; excellent analytical and problem solving skills; good communication skills; and be organized, efficient and responsive to the needs of each team member and our external clients.

Position Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree and four years of experience in construction estimating or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrate understanding of construction documents and how they apply to estimating. Experience interpreting and understanding construction plans and designs. Strong expertise using financial, budgeting and scheduling equivalent software. Proficiency in MS Office.
