Senior Consultant- Group Life Bridgewater, NJ; Philadelphia or Radnor, PA; Atlanta, GA; Tampa, FL; Dallas, TX; LA or Newport Beach, CA Aon Hewitt is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant- Group Life and Disability to join the Absence, Disability and Life Management (ADLM) Practice to lead and our client teams with renewal analysis, plan design changes, benchmarking, procurements, claim audits, plan implementations and carrier negotiations. This individual would partner with the other members of the ADLM Practice to deliver customized solutions for plan sponsors seeking solutions in the Group Insurance and Absence marketplace. This person will be responsible to develop new leads and will maintain a revenue goal. Responsibilities: Senior consultant will be fully billable and will provide required underwriting support for all renewals and plan change requests for the client teams. Senior consultant will support procurement efforts and will serve on project teams as a Senior Consultant will serve as peer review to other team members. Qualifications: 8+ years of Group Underwriting experience, preferably in the Life and Disability products Previous experience generating new business leads is preferred. Knowledge of benefit plans and experience consulting on benefit options High level of analytical thinking and the ability to make decisions based on sound business logic Self motivator with little to no direct supervision Excellent, written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills, planning and organizational skills, negotiation skills, investigation and research skills Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
