Responsible for coordinating all contract-related analyses with sound financial data for appropriate contracting decisions.



Develops timely and accurate data for contract review. Develops and analyzes different financial models/scenarios from payer proposals and makes recommendations for maximizing payer reimbursement



Develops and writes reports as needed



Develops cost models for analyzing payer performance by reviewing costs and utilization, overhead allocations, expected payments and departmental monthly statistics



Researches market trends for developing pricing strategy analysis



Works with finance and decision support to insure the accuracy of data used to develop different reimbursement



Located in Broomfield, CO.

Requires

BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent

Five years of financial experience, preferably in a healthcare environment

Minimum of three years' experience in hospital, physician, behavioral health reimbursement, collections and/or claims

An understanding of managed care contracts to assure compliance to terms of contracts required

Proficient in excel and access databases
