Position Overview

Skillsoft is seeking a talented Contract Negotiator to join our Contracts team.

The Contract Negotiator will have complete involvement in all aspects of the negotiation process. This position requires the ability to work independently within established parameters, while providing timely and thorough communication with departmental, cross-functional and sales teams. It is expected that the Contract Negotiator will develop and build effective working relationships and interface closely with Sales, Finance and external customers.

Position Responsibilities

Responsible for ensuring complete and accurate executed contracts are submitted for processing

Ensure that all custom sign-offs and reseller sell through reports are received and accurately match contract terms and conditions

Ensure that all appropriate approvals have been received, including any approvals for non-standard financial or business terms as well as appropriate CRM documentation

Responsible for meeting month end/ quarter end submission deadlines

Identification and evaluation of any terms which would have an adverse revenue impact on the company

Maintain appropriate records within the contracts database, CLM

Serve as a liaison between contract negotiators and contract administration

Provide requested documentation for all Sarbanes-Oxley audits

Other duties as assigned
