Job Description:

Responsible for the analysis, development, installation, modification and support of complex software and/or information solutions. Designs software and/or information solutions based on functional area assigned.Responsible for the integrity of the software build and deploy processes and overall quality of code versioning and integration across development, test and production environments.Implement, improve and support DevOps tools for software configuration management, build, deploy continuous integration, automated testing and automated self-service release management.Evaluate emerging build/deploy technologies and tools including cloud-based developmentIndependently code, debug, revise and document intricate objects or systems. Design solutions based on functional area assigned. We are looking for someone with an open mind for new ideas and methodologies to join our team of aces. Bachelor s degree in computer science or mathematics OR Associate s degree specifically in computer science field.At least 5 years of software build, release and/or configuration management/engineering experience in the following areas:Expertise with Continuous Integration and Deployment with at least one of following - uDeploy, Circle CI, Jenkins, Travis.Experience with AWS is requiredExpertise with automation using at least one of following Ansible, Vagrant, Puppet, Chef or an equivalentStrong background in Linux/Unix scriptingExpertise with build process for at least of of following - Red Hat s EAP, Java, Message Broker, WebSphereWith no degree, 7 years experience required. Hiring preferences:Experience with GIT/Github/RTC is preferred.Experience with Monitoring tools like Dynatrace, DataDog, Nagios, Graphite, etc.Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud.Experience with testing methodologies with the stated major development languages.Ability to apply seasoned judgment to facilitate informed decision making in difficult situations.Excellent collaboration and relationship management skills to facilitate effective working relationships with vendors, business, architects, analysts, managers, developers etc). Ability to manage and/or participate in projects and ensure work is completed on time with high qualityMust be self directed with proven initiative.Focused on continuous learning with solid problem solving skills.Ability to interview with a focus on fact finding and discoveryProcess and logic oriented. Effective verbal or written communication skillsExcellent time-management skills. Ability to be self-disciplined, flexible and adaptableAbility to work effectively as part of a team.Comfortable providing recommendations and status updates on a regular basisHighly organized with the ability to work in an environment where the ability to effectively multi-task is often neededCreate and sustain business literacy and understanding of business processes in the IS organization.Provide detailed application and code expertise to the development, testing, business teams.Coordinates vendor solution delivery and partners with vendors to effectively meet business needs and timelines.Provide direction and assistance to junior staff members.
