As the Senior Director, Talent Management you will be responsible for developing, communicating and executing a comprehensive global talent management Center of Excellence that supports and drives a collaborative and high performance culture. This role will partner with our HR leadership and executives to lead all areas of talent management including performance management, succession planning and learning and development.

You bring an expertise in global talent management program development and are adept at inspiring others to follow your vision. You also bring previous successful experience with creating an organizational environment that is high performing, engaging and empowering.

What you will do:

* Partner with HR Leadership and the executive team to identify and develop innovative global talent management strategies, identify gaps and create proactive roadmaps and action plans

* Ensure that Esterline s global succession planning, competency models, career pathing, talent review and performance management tools are meaningful and optimized for our employees and managers

* Develop and implement global strategies, tools and processes that enhance the capability of our current and future leaders

* Develop global top talent and high-potential programs which foster ongoing growth of key employees

* Design and deliver robust performance management tools and processes that support a culture of ongoing candid communication and feedback which align individual goals with organizational goals and ultimately drive a high-performance culture.

* Create and implement a learning and development strategy that addresses workforce capabilities, skills and competencies which support a growing global business

* Design and implement company-wide coaching and mentoring programs

* Use innovative talent development processes for assessment, design, development, communication, delivery, metrics, and reporting

* Develop reporting, metrics and scorecards to analyze and track talent management initiatives

* Lead organizational diversity and inclusion and affirmative action initiatives

* Create, implement and deliver proactive team building, interventions, curriculum, and coaching to both individuals and teams across the company

What you bring:

* 15+ years of progressively responsible experience in human resources

* 8+ years leadership experience in talent management, organizational design and development, and learning within a global organization (over 10,000 employees)

* Bachelor s degree in a related field required. Masters or Doctorate degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources or related discipline a plus.

* Professional HR Certification such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR

* Expertise in global talent management, organizational design and development, and learning/training

* Web-based training program implementation/management experience a plus.

* Experienced with leveraging HR technology platforms that support talent management programs.

* Demonstrated experience developing and using talent analytics to understand trends, establish strategic talent practices, build compelling business cases and drive sound global talent management decision-making.

* Strong leadership qualities and skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff. Proven ability to lead by sharing a common vision, gaining buy-in, building trust and coaching.

* Proven track record of leading and influencing; exceptional collaboration, relationship and consultative skills with demonstrated success building partnerships with internal and external contacts at all organizational levels in a matrixed environment.

* Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

* Demonstrated ability to lead training sessions and deliver presentations to a wide variety of audiences.

* Highly customer focused with the ability to develop solid relationships at all levels within a global matrixed organization.

* Ability to travel as needed in the US and internationally
