Senior Engineer/Test Management

Overview:

-Engineering support services for the Marine Corps Operational Test and Evaluation Activity (MCOTEA), and 2) Overall Program Management from the GEOMET perspective
Responsibilities:

-Fulfill tasks spelled out in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) for the Early Test and Evaluation (T&E) Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear Defense (CBRND) Task Orders (TOs). Tasks include but are not limited to the following:

-
-Review and provide technical feedback on all early T&E documents - Technical Needs statements, Verification/Validation plans and reports, Test Operating Procedures (TOPs),
-
-Develop T&E strategies, policies, and methodologies for CBRND commodity groups
-
-Participate and provide technical expertise in Integrated Project Teams (IPTs)
-
-Provide liaison support and coordination for review of T&E documentation
-
-Preparation of detailed concept briefs and meeting minutes
-
-Provide technical and analytical oversight of testing operations
-
-Organize and execute project deliverables within defined cost and schedule for company and government customer
-
-Provide Program Management support to GEOMET - tracking of TO funding, Period of Performances, creation of monthly status reports, provide liaison support between the Prime Contractor, GEOMET, and the government customer
Qualifications:

-Required
-
-Minimum of 4-year degree in an engineering discipline; preferred focus in the physical sciences - biology, chemistry, etc.
-
-Minimum of 2 years experience working in T&E supporting government programs; preferred experience in the CBRND arena
-
-Excellent communications skills - both orally and in writing
-
-Project/Program management experience
-
-Must possess, or be able to obtain, a Secret level clearance

-Ability to lead study teams; experience with test oversight

-Knowledge of operations research techniques

-Knowledge of the DoD Acquisition process and documentation (TEMP, TES, SEP, etc.)
