Senior Facicilities Engineer

Novartis is seeking a Senior Facilities Engineer who is responsible for technical resources for all facility & utility systems. Provides expertise in facility engineering including design, startup, & validation. Ensures maintenance plans for equipment are up to date & consistent with best current practice. Is familiar with building & process control systems. Investigates & provides solutions for facility-related QA deviations. Assists manufacturing operations in problem solving of facility systems to achieve cost effectiveness & improved product quality. Resolves a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways. Works on a wide array of facility & utility systems including: Compendial water Systems (RODI, WFI), GMP HVAC, CDA, Plant Steam, Chilled Water, Tower Water, Glycol. Engages automation engineering when required to support facility & utility operations. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods & techniques for obtaining solutions.
Executes small projects on various systems. Assembles & lead a team to execute the work at h&. Drafts &/or reviews St&ard Operating Procedures (SOP) for operation & maintenance of cGMP systems & equipment. Acts as subject matter expert (SME) during internal & external audits. Provides technical support to Manufacturing & Maintenance staff to ensure cGMP compliance of all facilities systems & utilities. Reviews & updates PID & other facility drawings as needed. Conducts investigations & root cause analysis. Follows-up & closes out audit reports. Works collaboratively with QA, Validation & Manufacturing.
Conducts departmental audit of maintenance records. Performs other duties as assigned.
