Manage and develop reporting tools to plan and analyze Gross Margin forecasts by business. Provide analysis of key drivers to strategically forecast Gross Margin. Forecast, analyze and report on GM for Domestic and International Businesses, both Retail and Wholesale. Complete financial forecast of inventory for International Businesses. Primary customers are Senior Management, BU Finance, Corporate Finance, and Corporate Merchandising.
The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in finance to:
Complete monthly channel level GM Forecasts and Bridge analysis vs Previous Forecast and LY
Develop and maintain reporting, analysis and tools to highlight factors impacting Gross Margin results.
Partner with Business Unit Planning and Finance teams to establish key assumptions affecting gross margin for the current forecast
Manage and develop GM reporting and analysis processes for International Businesses
Bridge product level margin to financial gross margin.
Understand and report on financial impacts (freight &duty, foreign exchange and hedging impacts, variances, etc.)
Analyze variances versus forecast and LY
Support development of inventory forecast and reporting for International channels
Bridge product level inventory to financial inventory.
Understand and report on financial impacts
Develop reporting and analysis for the Annual Operating Plan and Quarterly Conference Calls
The outstanding individual will possess…
Finance related College Degree.
Financial Analyst/Retail Planning experience – 4 years minimum
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Excellent Microsoft Excel / technical skills
Demonstrate strong initiative and ability to work on multiple projects
Ability to adjust to competing and shifting priorities
Strong degree of ownership and empowerment
Excellent communication skills with multiple business partners and varying levels of management
