span This is a truly special opportunity for any and all high level Front End/UI Developers.  This position is perm, full time and is conveniently located one of Chicago’s beautiful north coast suburbs just north of the city.  They are easily accessible by public transportation for people living in the city or the suburbs.  This is individual will receive a great base salary, excellent bonus potential an extraordinary benefits and an opportunity to learn and grow with some of the best in the business.  This company is truly a cut above. br   br B Job Description: /B br You will be part of the Software Development team.  The Software Development team designs, implements, tests and supports software solutions used by thousands of end users.   Whether you write distributed optimization algorithms or advanced mapping and visualization interfaces, you will make your impact on solving challenging business problems. br   br • Implement major features with limited guidance from leads and managers br • Demonstrate a passion for web development, have an eye for well-designed user interfaces, and be extremely detail-oriented br • Be a technical expert, mentor junior developers and share your expertise with other software engineers to strengthen our team br • In addition to new projects, be willing to add new features and refactor parts of established projects br • Provide accurate timing estimates on work br • Collaborate with User Experience Designers, User Researchers and Product Managers to ensure our solutions meet users' needs with maximum usability br • Collaborate with other software engineering teams to develop realistic implementation plans with a focus on quality, sustainability and delivering value to our clients br • Contribute to documentation (e.g.: instructional and technical specifications) br • Contribute to the organization’s development standards (style guides, design patterns, tech, etc.) br • Ensure your work and the work of others you are mentoring are consistent with organization standards or in the case of implementing new tech, are consistent with industry standards br   br B Required Experience: /B br • 3+ years of development experience, including ownership of significant client UI components and have coached other developers br • Strong and current experience with HTML, JavaScript, CSS br • Bachelors or master’s degrees in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics or a related discipline. br • Demonstrated passion for building great user interfaces that solve real user problems in an engaging way br • Experience developing high-performing, secure, production quality code br • Experience building dynamic, thick-client web applications br • Experience developing cross-browser and mobile compatible solutions br   br B Nice to have: /B br • Experience with server side technologies like ASP.NET, C#, Java and NodeJS br • Experience working with version control systems such as SVN and GIT. br • Experience with a client side frameworks such as jQuery, Angular, React, Polymer is a plus br • Experience with REST services and mobile development is a plus br • Experience working in agile development   br   br /span
