ADMIRAL BEVERAGE IS SEEKING A SENIOR HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER IN THE ALBUQUERQUE, NM AREA.
SENIOR HR MANAGER: Directs all aspects of the Human Resource operation for over 1000 employees across two divisions and advises senior management from each location on human resource management policies and practices to support company strategic
success. The Senior Human Resources is a key HR Business Partner that collaborates with the corporate HR team to implement and embed best practices in Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Career Management, Learning & Development, and manages local HR staff
on additional Human Resources Generalist functions.
Additionally, this role requires a commitment to the execution of effective investigations and prompt resolution of employee relations situations combined with a consultative problem solving approach and ability to integrate within the culture of Admiral
Beverage through partnering with organizational leaders throughout a variety of business units and disciplines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for directing all HR related practices to ensure compliance with corporate policies and applicable employment law.
Engages as a member of the leadership team for assigned divisions and regions; consults and collaborates to understand operational needs and expectations, aligning efforts of the department resources and staff to guide and influence optimal outcomes.
Presents recommendations and implementation plans to align the company's compensation guidelines to recruit and retain a qualified workforce.
Provide guidelines and oversees management of human resources activities such as talent management and acquisition, supervisory skill development, effective employee performance management processes, and employee relations.
Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues. Resolves problems requiring senior management intervention.
Conducts regularly scheduled meetings with human resource staff to exchange information and provide ongoing support and problem resolution.
Analyzes trends at each location including but not limited to turnover, hiring, promotions, separations, and grievances to determine support or action needed to adjust unfavorable trends.
Oversees training for interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance management and review, safety, sexual harassment, diversity awareness and workplace compliance.
Proactively seeks solutions to existing challenges and collaborates with others to identify and meet long term goals and objectives.
Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Management, Human Resources or related field required along with an SPHR/ PHR certification.
At least seven years of progressive and relevant high level HR experience in the areas of employee/labor relations, talent management and acquisition, for an employee population base of at least 400 employees.
Demonstrated knowledge of employment law and multiple HR functions.
Demonstrated ability to complete investigations, including but limited to, sexual harassment and discrimination complaints.
Demonstrated ability to successfully influence a multitude of work environments (warehouse to executive office).
Demonstrated leadership and change management skills that inspire and motivate others to excel, allows acceptance of constructive feedback, and ability to foster change
Demonstrated skills in the area of promoting and fostering diversity and inclusion.
Demonstrated strong oral, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to organize work and prioritize to meet deadlines, make timely decisions and with sound judgment.
Proven experience utilizing an HRIS system
Experience managing the HR function for a large employee population
Demonstrate ability to interact with clients, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the brand and the Company.
Excellent computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to support detailed report development/investigations, as well as business memos, policy summaries and necessary documentation.
Creativity, innovation and the ability to solve problems and generate viable solutions.
Must have good time management skills and be able to prioritize duties.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality, but also discern situations where information must be shared on a 'need to know' basis.
Ability to work with all professionals at different levels coupled with mediation, negotiation and consultation strengths.
Ability and willingness to comply with, and support all company policies.
Attention to detail with a strong desire to deliver value-added support to external and internal clients.
May be required to work nights or weekends on occasion.
Ability to conduct overnight, out of state travel up to 50% of the time with little or no notice
