JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY SUMMARY:
The Sr. HRIS Analyst is the key HR resource in supporting and enhancing utilization of all HR systems, with a primary focus on our global Workday application. In this position, you will function as the subject matter expert for all HR transactions and business processes, advising the HR team, managers, and employees on proper use of the system. You will also have direct responsibilities for processing, rescinding, correcting, and canceling transactions. Participate in the regular Workday update testing process, managing issues with Workday's support team, and supporting the functional leads (Core HR, Performance, Benefits, and Compensation). Lead projects including application enhancements / upgrades, new functionality deployment and new application implementations such as Learning Management. Deliver on assigned tasks in all project phases from Initiation, Planning, Analysis, Design, Build, Test/Train, Deploy and Stabilization. Be a technical leader on programs and projects as it pertains to Workday features and functionality. Drive efficiencies through automation in the areas of business processes, integrations, and data loads. Participate in various Workday design groups to drive key features and functionality that will enhance the user experience. Partner with other team members to perform peer reviews of new functionality. Activities include reviewing configuration documentation, testing, deployment plan, user documentation, training, etc. Assist with preparation for annual HR programs such as talent, performance management, open enrollment, and compensation planning, including requirements gathering & documentation, configuration updates, liaison with IT on technical changes, system testing, deployment/cutover coordination, preparation of documentation & communications, etc. Participate in the regular review and prioritization of HR systems configuration projects. Coordinate & manage external resources (vendors) to complete assigned project deliverables. Monitor various system integrations for errors, and provide basic integration issue troubleshooting.
Worldwide Reporting ability to apply systems knowledge to troubleshoot and analyze new issues is critical. Candidate must be a self-starter who possess strong customer focus and is comfortable implementing change and dealing with ambiguity. Advanced analytical, problem solving, and organization skills. Good project management experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong relationship building skills in order to acquire trust of business partners. Ability to manage change effectively always mindful of technology, business processes, and systems implications. Must exhibit strong security and confidentiality practices. Must thrive in a fast paced environment where multi-tasking and prioritizing is necessary.
