Job Description

The MWH organization is driving the wet infrastructure sector globally, and we are leading the world in results-oriented management, technical engineering, and construction services to create a better world. The wet infrastructure sector we serve encompasses a variety of water-related projects and programs ranging from water supply, treatment and storage to water resources management and coastal restoration, and from design and construction of hydropower and renewable energy facilities to full environmental services.
We are currently looking to add a Hydrogeologist to support our Tampa, Florida office.
MWH is seeking a motivated, self-reliant, and detail-oriented Senior Hydrogeologist to join our Florida Water Resources consulting team. This position will consist of a 50/50 mix of field and office assignments, respectively. Fieldwork will include serving as field lead for water supply well construction, injection well construction, and supervising subcontractors. This position will also support groundwater modeling, surface water evaluations, report writing, and other hydrogeology related activities. The individual will be responsible for supervising the acquisition and managing data in the field, management and evaluation of data in the office, writing technical specifications, and supporting report preparation.

The primary responsibilities for this role include:
* Providing professional hydro-geological support for a wide range of domestic and potentially, international projects;
* Preparing work plans, reports, and proposals
* Working with clients, business developers, and delivery teams to ensure that deliverables meet client needs;
* Perform project management duties including preparing and negotiating contracts and subcontracts, developing budgets, determining project scope, establishing schedules, assigning project staff, approving invoices, and other duties required to ensure quality and profitability;
* Manage and interpret data collected from projects covering a range of hydrogeologic and other earth-science-related topics;
* Competent report writer, reviewer and presenter summarizing the results of hydrogeologic assessments;
* Motivated to provide mentorship and guidance to junior level staff,
* Consistently adhere to internal company processes and policies such as budgeting, human resources, legal restrictions, risk management, etc.
Bachelor of Science degree required
* 4-10 years of progressive experience in hydrogeology
* Excellent verbal and written communication
* Excellent computer skills
